Pick up truck drivers. Either they are uninsured unlicensed recent immigrants or douchebag king of the road bully types. In Houston, if there is news of a fatal car accident, more than likely a pick up is involved.

I've found a bigger difference in the state drivers are from compared to the make they drive. Here in central Massachusetts, there are 4 other states within less than an hour, so you see a decent mix of non-Mass plates.
Vermont drivers are the least aggressive and probably the best overall if a bit slow. New Hampshire also not to bad, but I do notice a few more idiot drivers Both VT and NH do have their share of lifted trucks though... Connecticut I'll say are on par driving skill wise with the NH drivers, but there are way way more aggressive drivers from that state. The speeding, brake checking and aggressive lane changing are a level above all the others. Massachusetts drivers are on average just bad. General lack of respect for road laws or etiquette. Sometimes aggressive but nothing like CT drivers. And then there's Rhode Island.... Take the dumbest of the MA drivers and the combine it with the aggressiveness of the CT drivers and you have the worst drivers in New England. Congratulations Rhode Island, you win the MassNerd AHole Drivers Award! Sweeping, unfair generalizations of course. Most people from these states are fine drivers. But when focusing on the troublesome few, these are the trends I've observed. |

So much hate for the lifted truck driver, maybe I'm the exception. I daily drive a lifted truck on 35s. Considering what new trucks cost and what I paid for mine, I definitely baby it. Maybe some of these comments are aimed at old, rusted out POS trucks and their owners.

4. I do have an exhaust, but it is definitely quieter than any Mustang, riced out import, or Harley Davidson on the road. 5. I don't drive excessively fast. My truck only gets 10-11mpg in the city, 14-15 on the hwy. Why would I intentionally drive in a way that would reduce the already abysmal numbers? Of course, I didn't buy a truck hoping for decent fuel efficiency, and truck owners that complain about gas mileage are just idiots. 6. I am not uninsured, I have a valid license and I am not an immigrant. This sounds more like a Texas problem, not limited to just truck owners. |

The OP is pretty much on point. Nothing to disagree with. But i would add Nissan Altima/Maxima and Hyundai Sonata/all their other faceless sedans drivers to the first group.
When i’m driving i look at the makes/models of the cars around me and just assume they’re going to do a specific, stupid thing based on what they’re driving. Even if i’m only right 30-40% of the time, i’m ready with a defensive driving maneuver at those times |

Here in Detroit the worst drivers are the $90/month Chrysler 300/ Dodge Charger leases....and Jeep (Grand Cherokees/Cherokees mostly).

Stock sports cars over $50,000.
I'll preface by saying there's nothing wrong with owning an enjoying an unmolested car, but there's just something about people who buy a 350+HP car and assume it's the fastest thing on the road. It's a lot of AMG Mercedes, BMW, etc drivers that just assume that whatever is next them is slow. (and sometimes they're right) I guess they get used to being rev'd on my civics. They feed the addiction that cheap car drivers have to finding and landing on expensive cars. Haha.

Prius drivers for sure, BMW drivers, mostly older models, most bike riders, specially sports bikes, and most lifted trucks. I always run and beat on sports bikes (9/10) when on track events, just to remind them they are not as fast as they think they are.

Subaru Outback - left lane camping self-righteous hippie.
Tesla - holier-than-thou nerd. Used to work for Tesla, can confirm A LOT of their clients are this. Pickup truck - if obviously not a contractor vehicle, likely driven by a fat guy trying to assert his "dominance." Nissan Altima/Maxima, lower-end Hyundais and Kias - poor person who finally got somebody to finance them, car will mostly likely be treated like shit and never cleaned, these cars are usually beaten up within a few years. Most luxury cars - badge chaser who just wants an image. Has zero appreciation for the engineering in such a car. Clean, well-maintained luxury car - possibly an enthusiast. At minimum somebody who genuinely enjoys their car. BMW ///M - likely an enthusiast and similar personality to mine. Audi S line - thinks he's a hotshot but wouldn't know the first thing about handling or steering feel if it hit him in the face.

G35/37 Q50 drivers frequently seem to think they're in a disguised 1000hp GTR.
320i drivers also seem to have forgotten that they didn't pick the M3 option. Four and six cylinder Mustang and Camaro drivers also tend to be more aggressive than their burlier brethren. I guess I'm saying that base level cars seem to be compensating more than mid or upper level cars. And Priusii and Leaves, they're their own sort of evil. |

In my area, most M car drivers are posers and the car will never see a trackday. I thought about one... but decided my 440i had better manners for a daily driver and my bikes are cheaper track vehicles.

Worst example ever: I was in a freeway interchange in Sacramento that's seven lanes wide, with three highways intersecting. I was in the #2 lane (second to the fast lane) when the car in front of me swerved... and I found myself headed for the rear end of a car with Oregon plates that was backing up. He apparently missed the two lanes a half mile back that exited to the far right. The seat of my car was never the same. |

In the places I've lived there's a lot of luxury cars but M division products are rare, so I assume the owners are enthusiasts. But definitely in SoCal (and I'd assume SoFla) it's a different culture.

Q50 owners aren't as bad for some reason, my theory is that (a) those cars didn't sell well in the first place and (b) even used examples are still out of the price range for all the posers.

I am sorry but the OP's opinions are highly exaggerated. Most of the time people just drive. Occasionally there's some fking asshole would cut you off but those are just random occurrence (unless somebody got some personal vendetta against you and hire people to come after you).
