uhmmm,...look...dazed...and...confused....

I am just saying that it makes no point to have a device such as the iPhone if you are only going to use it as a phone and MP3 player. You are going to be paying $30 extra per month for the data pkg which is REQUIRED for the 2 year period.

I don't know too many people that can justify spending $360+taxes to use the iPhone for that purpose.

That is for a 2G Pre-Paid iPhone not the 3G where you cannot activate on pre-paid service. The 3G iPhone REQUIRES a 2 yr contract and the data feature.

AT&T iPhone plans are special plans all of which have data included.

In Canada, I ordered the Iphone with a data plan, but I can get it without a data plan as well. We have a 3 year contract in Canada. 3G 8GB, $199 to buy the phone too.

Not sure about USA.
