$1,099 is actually pretty reasonable for what you get. At that price it's almost worth it as a perpetual rental program. I'd be surprised if they could offer the program sustainably for that, but maybe if enough people come in under miles it would work. That being said, it's way out of my price range.
Would absolutely be worth it for a month to figure out what you want to buy though. I'm realizing how woefully insufficient a standard test drive is to determine the daily livability/enjoyability of a new car. You can try to rent one on Turo for a day @ $199+, or do this for a month, seems like a no brainer. |

Appreciate the write up and pics. I'd like to do something like this is offered in my state.
Quick question do you pay sales tax on the monthly subscription fee? |

No time limit. You could keep it that long. But why would you!? Heck, sometimes I change just because I don't feel like getting gas! It really is a very different way of thinking about cars.

Well done on the the write up. Very well explained. When you take into consideration that insurance and maintenance (that is not covered by a new maintenance plan) is covered as well as the car, it can make a lot of sense. If they ever get to Atlanta, GA I would seriously consider this. The flexibility on the changing of cars whether for need or want is would a bit of a premium, in my opinion.

Bundling insurance in the monthly fee makes the cost much more justifiable.

Interested in whether this will come to LA/OC at some point. I do agree that there should be some flexibility with options like you mentioned, OP.

The M tier is still way over priced, needs to be closer to around $1900/month (sub $2k).
Any word if the M850 will be available?

I really like this concept, and would love to replace one of my household's three cars with a subscription service. Unfortunately I don't see any of the European makes bringing these services to Detroit anytime soon.

Would love something like this to be in NYC, though they will probably just be permanently stuck in traffic... for nyc might even make sense to do it in a few location where people use to get out the city

Great write up. Thanks for taking the time to do it. I’ve been keeping an eye on the program with a hope it comes to the UK. I like the idea of being able to easy swap to a different model just because I want to.
