Most Disappointing Movie..?

I Am Legend..... the movie was good but the ending was unexpected.

This thread should bar sequels.

Everyone knows that sequels are always bad. Because poeple just expect to much out of them to begin with. The veiwers expect the obvious to happen, the obvious happens, and the viewers get mad because the movie's plot was obvious.

I'd say anyone who is truly disappointed with a sequel has unrealistic expectations. All they are is just another vantage point to view the eye candy that was left out of the original film and to wrap up a unfinished story.

My vote goes to Beowolf.

The Director's Cut of Kingdom of Heaven was a much more complete movie. Still cannot stand Elfboy though.

Empire Strikes Back, Godfather 2, and a number of James Bond movies (From Russia with Love, Casino Royale...) would be exceptions to this rule. I still stand by Phantom Menace though since it was so MASSIVELY disappointing.

Jumper was good in the beginning and middle, the ending is what killed it, and the girl in the movie was ugly. Tokoya drift is one of my favorites, the first one was good to, but the 2nd Fast and Ferious was gay.

lol i never even saw it. i just remember watching Conan O'Brien make fun of how bad/disappointing it was every show for like a month.

honestly you can't expect those movies to be good, can you? so they can't be disappointing if they weren't meant to be good in the first place

90+% of every movie released in the past 10 years or so.

It seems these film studios are really good at creating teasers and trailers that make their movies look 1000x better than they actually are.
