All of the commercials/schedules say the games start on Saturday. Yesterday when I went to DVR all the upcoming games, the frist one was not available until Monday.

Normally, I would say Italy or France, but both may get burned out by the Group of Death with Holland.

Portugal, why? Both Scolari and Ronaldo will want to prove they are worth the big bucks at Chelsea (Scolari) and Real (Ronaldo).

I will cheer for Italy... But there is great teams Portugal, Spain, France is always a worry.

Holland wont win they have players but the coach isnt good enough.

Switzerland made a very good game and played better than Czech.. but they had so much bad luck, which is normally enough for the hole tournament!

The victory of Portugal is no surprise.. but Turkey had also some good chances.

best defender today for turkey was the goal post, making 3-4 saves. Portugal will do well i think they looked good.

Did you watch Real Madrid play this season? Cannavaro's form was terrible. Italy is actually better off without him.

I agree with you.. Cannavaro had the tourney of his life WC2006. But italian defence is sound i dont worry about that its just the strikers better show the goods..

Ah man, the Portugal destroyed Turkey. Portugal had so many other chances too and I counted about 4 shots that hit the damn post by Portugal. Congrads to the Portuguese fans.

It is possible...just like Scotland beat them twice (away and at home), and we all agree that France should be a better team...
