I shoot with a Nikon D80. If this was a real photoshoot, I'd make sure that the light pole wasn't reflecting off of his hood along with anything else that you see in the background. But for just capturing what I saw, it was taken with a Nikon D80 with a Sigma 10-20 mm lens.

I did this really quick. I was about to park and saw the car. About a minute and a half after I finished the owner came out, hopped in the car, then drove away. Despite the car being badged incorrectly, the car itself was clean and the sky was clear. If I take photos, I like to take them from a nice angle even if they are quick. It wasn't like a photoshoot or anything

If he wasn't with his family, I would have asked him about his car. I was just putting my camera gear back into the trunk when I saw him walking towards the car. One of these days I'll photograph a new M3. I saw a nice black 335i coupe in the garage that I was contemplating photographing but was too lazy to.

It so damn easy to spot a Real from a fake model. putting the AMG badge is ok if you got a standard model with AMG rims or so, but putting C63 badge of the back and the 6.3 labels on the sides is going way too far.

umm..you know how many bmw wannabes are out there..more than merc..we have seen jetta's honda,s hell even nissans with m and/or bmw roundels. i have seen more than 5-6 cars personally that aren't bmw's with bmw badges or aren't m3's with m3 badges.. why would people buy a bmw if all these people just stick a roundel on there jetta like the one a few days ago on here..it's all over now i am selling my bmw i guess

Would have made it one step easier on the re-badging job if it were, from the 230: replace the 2 with a 6, keep the 3, and remove the 0. But AFAIK the US does not offer them lower than a C300.

Ok this happened to me yesterday too. Driving around and saw this guy with holier than thou attitude and he has a CLK55 and AMG badge on his regular CLK. Dual exhaust instead of quad. LOL

The pre-2005 CLK55s had dual exhaust from the factory - it might've been a real one.

I've seen worse... Came across a CLK320/430 double-parked right infront of a "Fire zone, no parking" sign that was (other than the AMG badges) bone stock, with at least 3 different brands of tires and one of them at the rear was mounted in reverse.
