Hate is the wrong word. Save that for real enemies like ISIS. Liberals is more, disdain, contempt, or pity depending on the individual. A good example of this bs was Judge Gorsuch. When Kagan or Sotomayor were nominated to the bench by President Obama, the right didn't filibuster theem before going to an up or down vote. They obviously were as liberal leaning as you can get but republican senators approved them anyway because they were quality judges. Now when a far less right leaning judge who had already had senate conformation to a lower court is nominated by Trump
1.they complain the republicans stole an obama pick. They didn't. This precedent had already been set by Biden under George Bush Sr. by Joe Biden to not have a last year appointment.
2. Never had a judge been filibustered for going to an up or down vote before. Good job Chuckie.
3. His credentials were impeccable and far more acceptable to the senate body as a whole than any of the 3 gals on the court.
4. The nuclear option had been exercised first by the left under Obama
5. Most judges do not reach the magical 60 votes needed
6. He was replacing a cinservative seat, maintaining the balance if the court.

The left lost and now
1. They look like fools
2. This greenlights far more conservative appointments by trump
3. The left blew a huge amount of political capital on a loss and something they were going to loose and not on something that was a fight they could have made a difference
4. They demonstrated their unwillingness to work on anything to the current administration giving them the greenlight to exclude them as the right was excluded under Obama.

Sad but Chuckie and Nancy wanted to throw their temper tantrums and now they've marginalize themselves and further hurt their misguided party. I worry for the left. When Kennedy was President they left was for a strong military, lower taxes, and promoting small business as exemplified by his final speech in Dallas. Clinton tried the hard left road and quickly moderated to become a semisuccessful president. Now its all about seeing how far left they can go, and putting people who can raise donor money from wall street and the extreme left multibillionaire donors in power instead of capable politicians. Hillary and Nancy are poster children for this.
