you'll see that I simply said that it got beat bad in the video. I went as far as to say the 335i had more people in it and that it was probably stock. I even went to say that I'd have gotten the 335i (post 17) if it were available in 2005 when I got my IS350.

I didn't but the IS-F to track against M3s or 135s. I bought it to take me to and from work as my daily driver. If I were to go tracking and I became serious, I'd buy a dedicated race car. It's also a car my wife uses on occasion (hence the auto tranny). It's also a lease so I'm not interested in modifying so I can void my warrantee and break my contract.

Point is, I never came here to talk shit or to argue with you guys. I came here to read about cars and to learn about them.

At this point, I'm not going to defend myself anymore. I don't think I need to. If you choose to continue flaming, flame away. I could care less - I have better things to do.

And, maybe it's hard to believe, but I didn't buy my IS-F solely for performance reasons. I bought it because I simply wanted it. My IS350 was a non-nav, non Mark Levinson, non Sport model and no bluetooth. Why wouldn't I want to upgrade if I could? If you drove a base 318 wouldn't you want a loaded 335 as a DD?

Whats up everyone. I met toothdoc that day at the track, he's a cool guy and he wasnt bashing the 335i at all, The track sucked the best I got that day was a 12.9@109. I should be around a 12.3@113. The track was not prepped at all. He car is fast and I actually hated lexus cars because I owned one and never thought that they would make a worthwhile sports car but after racing with him and driving in his car I actually have respect for it and I think the same feeling is mutual for him regarding the 335i. Anyways enjoy your cars and keep the personal shit out of it.

MBworld and audizine/audiworld have just as much hate (if not more when the 335i was hitting its stride in the mags/reviews).

I have to say the ClubLexus doesn't have all that much hate, but there are some funny kill threads there which I find hard to believe.

Regardless who or what, hate is hate. Toothdoc already told you it wasn't him on that video. And another 335i owner have defended him for being a cool guy and does not hate on BMW's. I'm talking about the hate on Lexus or other brands in general that is not BMW.

M3 sedan - 154.2 sec.

135i - 156.34 sec.

IS-F - 158.6 sec.


What happened to the so-called "M3 killer"? It isn't even a 135i killer.

And the EVO X beats the M3, ISF, 135i, and C63. Does it make it necessarily a better car than these cars. Of course not. And how often and how many owners do you think will take these cars to a track course and explore it's full potential, i'm guessing not too many. My point is the M3 & ISF have identical straightline performance figures, in other words, the 4 seconds "beating" it gave the ISF does'nt necessarily paint the whole picture. Is the M3 a better all around performance car, yes it is, better than the C63, ISF, and even the mighty RS4. Multiple comparisons have proven this.
