Russian coaches train some USA medalists. Putin doesn't have much to do with Russian Olympic team athletes. And USA use peds as well, there's been alot of politics involved in these scandals

That said, Americans are usually very good in sports and get paid well for it. So I am not surprised to see USA on top, but Russia was #1 in winter Olympics
