So sad. If going to drive so crazy if they'd leave some stability in place this would not happen at all.

I hate people who drive like that.

This was aero related and not driver or "stability control" related. Too many uninformed armchair racers.

No, it wasn't driver related unless you mean he shouldn't drive at the limit.

Well racing is always risky.....and this accident is rare so many if not every factor is a possible cause of this accident.....but way to many variables present at those speeds........just takes a random gust of air to produce these types of results.
I used to race sport bikes so I know what air currents are capable of doing to a vehicle at the limit and on a bike you feel everyone of them and have to adjust accordingly.

Let me add to my comment so that I'm clear:

It seems to me that this class of cars needed/needs rule modifications in order to race safely at the Nurburgring.

In my opinion, this is the responsibility of both the track and the race organizers based on driver/team feedback.
