Who heard about this? Kinda funny
"They asked me if I want to try a Formula One [car] and I said 'one day, why not? The experience would be nice, but in the future'. But they say I want to move to Formula One! “Stop the questions! My world is here in MotoGP.” -- Marc Marquez |

Marquez took pole again...
and this "Teluru team JiR Webike Moto2 rider Tetsuta Nagashima is out of the British Grand Prix following a crash today at the Silverstone race circuit. The 22-year-old got caught up in an incident with another rider and after the resulting crash was airlifted to hospital. It is early days, but he may have suffered injuries that could put him out for the rest of the season. Early indications suggest the injuries sustained include a dislocated right shoulder, a small fracture in his right hip bone and a fracture to his right tibia and fibula. Thankfully a CT scan at University Hospital Coventry has revealed no internal injuries. All of the Teluru team JiR Webike staff wish Tetsu a speedy recovery and wish him well. More information will be released when it is available. " |

Alright well if you haven't seen the race yet it's your own fault but fair warning: spoiler alerts below.
What an awesome race! The back and forth between Jorge and Marc kept met out of my seat until the last lap. I thought for sure Jorge had it but time and again Marcus stamina proves to be the winning factor |

After the final pass with 3 to go, Marc was riding on the absolute ragged edge. He was determined to keep Jorge behind him. Basically if you were to try and keep up or pass, you were going to wreck. I don't think it is humanly possible to ride any quicker that what Marc is doing at the moment. He is getting every last bit out of that bike.

Marquez proves time and again that it is he who has that stamina. It won't be until he has a younger pilot who can ride harder and when MM ages a bit that the chap will be dethroned. |

crash.net:
Marc Marquez was making no apology for his forceful pass on Jorge Lorenzo, which effectively paved the way for his victory in the British MotoGP at Silverstone. In a re-run of last year's event, the Repsol Honda rider went toe to toe with Lorenzo in the final laps, making an aggressive overtake at the Loop after the door was slammed in his face by his Yamaha rival at Village. Lorenzo had to stand his machine up as Marquez barged through, but the world champion said it was a 'great move', which paved the way for his 11th victory this season. “We had a small contact at the corner before the pass. But at the next corner, the last overtake, I know that it was a great move, an aggressive move, but we did not have contact,” said Marquez, who lost to Lorenzo in their 2013 British battle. “Last laps are like that. Last year at the last corner he overtook me and we had some small contact too. But this year I think everything was fine. It is nice, after Brno, to come back to the podium and to be on top. I said that if I had the chance to win that I would try.” Lorenzo led for a large segment of the 20-lap race, with Marquez only taking the lead for the first time on lap 14. The 21-year-old was able to increase his pace significantly in the closing stages as his tyres began to drop off and he pulled away to win by 0.732s in the end. “At the beginning I tried to save the tyre a bit but it was difficult because the rhythm was rally high. I was trying to save some rear tyre because especially on the left side, as you saw on TV in the last laps, I arrived at the limit. I think everybody was the same,” Marquez said. “We probably expected a different kind of race today, but Jorge was really strong from the beginning but through the race we improved and at the end we were able to fight with him. “I just attacked at the end because normally I feel more comfortable on the used tyres.” |
