All the gloss black exterior plastic they put on every model is starting to be to much! One wash it looks horribly scratched up.

I mean its basically a mini 7... i suppose this is exactly what this consumer is looking for...the video games and screens... i am sure driving and just general feeling of the car was the last thing on anyone's mind here

Not a bad design overall, it is refreshing to see a non controversial front. However, the rear looks like a Nissan Maxima immiating an E class ehhh…I guess you lose some and win some.

The black plastic at the bottom that runs up the rear bumper is an eye sore. Not a fan of the looks. Also, it appears that they went VW on the interior. Volume knob gone and haptic controls on the steering wheel.

Agree with this. Came here to say "why does it look FWD?" Oddly proportioned.

Well at least it wasn’t as horrendous as the “EQ” lineup from MB. Can’t say I love the front on the i60, hoping when the 540/550 equivalents come out they change the styling queue. Overall not bad though just honesty looks like a stretched out 2 GC series.

I’m pretty aware of that. You still have to put the car in D, R, etc.

As far as BMW designs go lately, will take this all day. The rear is kind of a mess in that it’s not really BMW-looking and doesn’t match the rest of the design.

But with BMW lately, need to see the car in person. In contrast, this really makes the G30 feel and look like the best modern BMW. And it’s not even close.

Aside from the rear gimmicky taillights on the new E Class, I think Mercedes did a better job.

Issue with this is that the profiles are already there. It looks like a blown up 2-Series Gran Coupe. I was really hoping this looked more like a modern day E39

Glad BMW tried to stay more “conservative” but sadly it looks more Peugeot 508 than 5er, especially the side. The front still has some awkwardness to it as well, although not as bad as some other Bimmers. The rear drop and trunk is more of a Mercedes design as well.

Inside looks decent, although something about the interior is off-putting. Maybe a beige/brown interior with some wood would look better.

Looking rather okay to be fair a bit generic but other then that its not a big step off i would probably spec mine with the tanzanite blue without the M-Sport pro package to avoid the to much of a glossy plastic appearance on it.

Almost fully specced m60i ends up at 1 480 900 swedish sek thats 129,053 usd and it gives a range of 464 km with the 21 inch wheels

And this one is for the UK market.

Here is the link if you wanna play around a little bit on the Swedish configurator site.

I'm impressed by how unimpressive the car looks and the numbers are. Especially for the electric-only models. I was hoping for something around 320 miles of range at least.

I was really looking forward to this but I have to say I'm not at all impressed. The exterior is not attractive at all and the grill is too large, particularly in the vertical dimension.

I think the new E-class did a much better job aesthetically. I'm reluctant to switch to MB after two 5'ers which I've been very happy with, but this one really isn't doing it for me.

If I didn't know better I'd think this thing was a Buick. YUCK.

BMW, 1983 - "We give you orange gauge illumination so that at night your eyes don't get fatigued"

I miss the era of bmw angel eyes. I also sense this car was designed to look taller. They tried fixing a design that wasn’t broken in my opinion.

The only good thing going for this is the eqe is worse. Tech is also presumably amazing but idk if I care about that.

Lastly.. I was hoping Porsche and BMW would go electric with modular batteries.

My opinion is electric cars with huge batteries that take hours to charge and weigh tons or require mining aren’t the answer. I’d take a small 100 mile swappable battery that could be replaced at a battery station within a minute over a 3 ton 500 mile battery that takes 8 hours to charge. I hope the tech gets there fast.

I like it, I really like the side profile, the rims look pretty slick as well. I think this will do well
