I just keep thinking about the security nightmare for casinos that line the strip and proposed track layout.

Are you going to be able to go gamble between FP1 and FP2? Or go make some mid-race wagers?

Gone are the days where you turn up on the day and just buy your ticket(s) at the gate for an F1 race

It's a good and bad thing.

On the one hand the sport is gaining popularity and liberty media will hopefully invest in F1 to provide a better viewer experience.

On the other. Regular fans will be priced out. It's quickly becoming a shitstorm of celebrities and influencers. The fan base is full of people who know nothing of racing but still provide their expert opinion. Oh and the f1 app is still garbage.

There I said it.

I’ve only attended one race. That was in Monaco. Great experience to be there but not a great sport to watch live imho. I feel zero need to go to another F1 event live. I much prefer watching on TV. I was so taken back by the sound and speed of the cars live. Just amazing. Watched from the roof of my hotel (Fairmont) circa 2010 that was 100 times better than my seat Even though it was further away.
