Same problem here, it lost connection after a couple of days and fails to initiate the e-sim (Ubigi). After deleting it, re-installing, it again lasted a couple of days. No solution so far.

And that's exactly the situation I now have....removed before update, reinstalled afterwards and it worked, then it stopped working, so removed it again. Leaving it uninstalled until this gets sorted...and if I find I don't miss it, then will leave it uninstalled and save the $20/mo.

At least you guys were able to remove yours mine is still stuck on deactivating and I killed the whole service on T-Mobile side just to start over but the app still in the state of deactivating

…because mine quit today and went back to 3/4 conditions met.

I get thanks for activating your new line with T Mobile every couple of days. eSim has been working fine though. My i5 M60 has iDrive 07/2024.55 version installed. It was installed at dealership when they were looking for a very intermittent chassis stabilization warning. BMW told them to update to the latest. 07.24.55 or 54, not 100% sure.

My BMW app shows active and options-when I click options it shows-1: block in vehicle and 2: delete from vehicle, so I assume it’s now working

I've gotten about 3 or 4 emails over about 3 or 4 days saying the sim is activated and I got some emails thanking me for activating new lines. When I look online at my T-Mobile account, I see two new numbers for my car in addition to the original one for the car, but the new ones show no data usage so I'm expecting it will get sorted out before the next bill.

Still a problem, but I'm using a duo sim with the sim reader as a workaround. Just programmed the iphone tasks to enter flight mode, but enable wifi and bluetooth when connecting to the cars wifi

What car do you have and software version please.

It’s a g61 m60 with the 07/2024.40 software on it. I used to have Ubigi e-sim but it stopped initializing the e-sim, so I went back to old school duo sim basically the same as my cellphone through the sim reader that was included with my car.

In these days of fiber connectivity and gigabit speeds, BMW is still in the accoustic modem era (for those of us who remember when 1200 baud was blazingly fast) WRT firmware updates.

I certainly will, I even sent an email asking for some type of compensation being we are paying for that service to work on both sides. I’ll let you guys know.
