If everyone had a gun and a shooter was shooting from a building, for example, it wouldn't take long for 40, 50 or 100 people to start shooting back.
People shooting back at a target they couldn't see? Most people who get a gun aren't going to get a rifle and carry it with them to a concert either.

Plus the dude was over 400 yards away in a building that housed other guests. That's 40, 50, or 100 people shooting guns that don't have that effective range, trying to hit a man they can't see, shooting at a building with innocent people in it. Not even accounting the bullet drop could hit a random person just driving down the road.

It seems a lot of people who carry seem to think if everyone carried everything would be okay. But I don't think its that simple. It is much easier for a regular guy who shoots paper targets to freeze up and make a mistake then it is for a trained individual to make that same mistake. A gun is only as good as its shooter.

At least I discovered bimmercode. Great app. Will bang again. A+

Later dudes.
Progression is a term the left uses to try to say their the party of progress. The problem is theyre the party of socialism and societal chaos. I don't see how destroying history or traditions is progress. They hsve no clue how to make the economy or international relations work. Yes, on some social issues theyre ok, but most they need to push to extremes. And in the USA they get elected by fear and media backing, not by having a plan or message.

I’ll say it again, just because you have one risk factor doesn’t mean removing others is pointless. It’s like saying I took a risk crossing the street so I may as well smoke for the rest of my life. Or I’m at risk from cancer so I may as well smoke.

Am I making any sense? Maybe not but but hey, that’s not my fault if you get my drift.

Bomb making is more difficult and requires specialist knowledge and detailed planning, as well as acquiring chemicals that are very well tracked by your many agencies. Any idiot can wield a high powered rapid rate of fire weapon. They are designed to be able to be used effectively by idiots.
But it increases the risk factor not decreases it. With 2mm crimes a year foiled by guns, they're much better to have. It's like saying that because 10 people a year have seatbelts jam during an accident and die a fiery death as a result of being trapped in the car, we should take away seatbelts.

As for your bomb making analogy, it was posted on the net how to do it with kitchen supplies. Getting the guns requires background checks and registration. Buying bleach and nails doesn't.

Can’t take that too seriously...

It's what Israel requires. I don't see an issue there. Every man and woman are required to serve and every household is required by law to have an assault weapon, not semi auto version.

Yeah, but shitting the bed every few days shows you aren’t being responsible

I'm suspicious that your nifty causes of death chart is neither comprehensive nor accurate (and I'm guessing that 'murder by gun' is one of those clever and very narrow categories, probably eliminating suicides, accidental toddler shootings, and cases where they haven't listed it as a 'murder'). Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death, per the most recent data we're getting, and I think about 30% or more of those are by firearm.

Sweet. Ban food and have compulsory conscription in the army which will be the only place people are well fed!

Genius.

It’ll reduce abortion rates because all the men will be at training or war and won’t even have a chance to get women pregnant and then abortion will be a thing of the past as well.

Further to that they’ll all be fit and heart disease will be less prevalent because in the army you can dictate to people what they eat as well!!!

This is great because while talking about gun control we have inadvertently solved other problems that had NOTHING to do with what we are talking about.

All this talk of extreme left (not strictly directed at who I’m replying to). I’m not even political, I couldn’t care less about whether a viewpoint is left or right, or straight down the middle. I assess viewpoints on merit, Be they left or right ideals.

Why talk about freedom to own firearms only to say you don’t have a problem with compulsory military service?

That table is also totally ignoring what the law considers a ‘life’ as well. You do need to consider that because the murder part of your argument is determined by the law as well.

Otherwise feeding someone an unhealthy meal could be attributed to murder. That makes every mother a murderer.

See how if you surrender your rationality you can produce any argument? While not the most insightful thing to do it is VERY fun isn’t it?

You’re not getting all these frequent terrorist attacks because you had the worst one of all time and your government agencies cracked down and are doing a great job!!

Turn that diligence to gun control as well and you’ll get less mass shooting murders too.

Get it?

Having said that, can I ask the pro gun people in this forum this question?

Here goes....

Are you prepared to continue to have these mass shootings at the current rate they’re occurring to preserve your current gun rights? Yes or no?

Changing nothing with gun rights means things will inevitably continue on as they are....

Ok for the sake of your argument, let's say I am willing to give up my Glock. I live in NJ, population almost 9 million.
Now let's go over the shitty areas of NJ; I'm pulling these from the top of my head.
Newark
Irvington
East Orange
Camden
Atlantic City
Patterson
Parts of Jersey City
Elizabeth
parts of Asbury
parts of Perth Amboy
New Brunswick
Neptune
Trenton
You can safely bet that many of the criminals living in these cities are going to be packing. Now do you honestly think they will simply give up their firearms if guns where made illegal in the US?

In the last 50 years there have been 948 people killed in mass shootings. Mass shooting make up less than 1% of gun deaths in the US.
That's 948 victims in 50 years
Right now in Chicago we are at 530 MURDER victims for the year and it is only October, last years total was 751. So compare the numbers. There is deafening silence when it comes to the insane crime rates of the inner cities.

50 years = 948 victims of mass shootings
1 year and ONE SINGLE inner city gave us 751 murder victims
The first one is such are problem that late night show hosts are growing vaginas and crying like little girls. The second one no one gives a fuck about not even BLM.

And suicide isnt stopped if you don't have a gun. I'm gonna kill myself. Wait, no AR15. Oh well. Guess I'm gonna live. Only the stupid left includes those to pump up the figures and gun bans do zero to lower it.

Not far from me there is the Victory Bridge, which links South Amboy with Perth Amboy. When you drive over the bridge you will see signs hanging with a message "There is help" and an 800 number to call. Why is this? Because people love committing suicide there, as it has a pedestrian walk way.

True. I'm from Jersey originally. They go on the bridge to commit suicide with their bump stock assault weapon. Happens all the time. Not. Lol

there you go... nothing anyone can say or do will change your mind, no cost is too great for you.

That's fine. I respect your right to have an opinion.

I'm done trying to talk sense into people who would gladly see mass shootings continue rather than reexamine, or even think about, their point of view.
