^ Yeah, go to Wede’s place. Cooler there by the ocean. Here in the Inland Empire we’re looking at mid to upper 90s.

PS - hell, I might go to Wede’s place, if he’d invite me.

I would never impose, especially since OCD psycho dog travels everywhere we go. Plus, I don't think that the getting mightier Freightliner will work well with the on-street parking in his neighborhood.

FWIW, it's 82F with a 78% humidity at home right now according to my weather station, and a dank 73F in my new-to-me office at work. I left the office at noon on the last three days of last week when the inside temp hit 75F, so this is a slight improvement. Other offices in our new-to-us building are sweltering and near 80F.....

I would be very happy to exchange my dry weather for some of your rain. Forecast for today is 100F. I think the last time it rained was two months ago.

Another hot and humid day. It's 79 right now, feeling like 91. This afternoon it's going to be 88, feels like 99 with humidity. Hurray for AC.

The smoke changed directions and looks to be blowing north to give us a break. It's still a bit hazy but not nearly as bad as it was.

The first four days of July have been more or less non-stop thunderstorms, dumping 1.58" of rain into my rain gauge. It is hot, and stinko humid.

As I write this my home weather station is reading 89F with 71% humidity. That's a "feels like" 100F, or a humidex of 44.5C (112.1F!) for our friends to the north.....

Downright perfect weather for the 4th. Started a little on cool side, with clouds, so I worked on tearing out the shelves in the closet.
As I transitioned outside, the clouds broke and it warmed up to about 74 as I removed nails and sanded the shelves for next time. Then I pulled weds in the garden until noon.

After lunch, temp had risen to about 78. A few squirts of SPF15 oil, an hour in El Palacio del Sol with a hard Kombucha, then retired to bed for a nap.

Wife came home from work (she works for the federal war industry, on the 4th????) and I fired up the grill.

Just finnished cutting the grass in 34°C (93°C) temperature...

Well, I'll take -34°C (-29°C) over this crap anytime.

You can always dress up for cold temperature but in warm temperature once you are naked thas is it, of course you might get lucky

The high per my backyard weather station was 91.3F, and the lowest humidity all day was a muggy 61%. An early afternoon strong thunderstorm rolled through, dumping 0.76" of rain and bringing the temps down to the upper 70's F for a bit before climbing again.

I finally re-enabled the afternoon departure schedule in my BMW i3 yesterday. (It has been off since COVID lockdown, since I was WFH until just recently.) Getting into a pre-chilled car (aka: life support) when leaving work on a hot afternoon is priceless.....

Ridiculously hot and humid. Look forward to getting back to NC in less than a month.

It's better in NC? I lived in Goldsboro, NC, and that's just about how I remember it, ridiculously hot and humid.

In Asheville, yes much better. I’m in South Florida. Doesn’t get much more humid than here in the summer.

If I had to go back to NC, thanks probably where I’d want to be, versus the middle of the state… I’m not a beach person but I’d take that over the center cities.
