We've got two 90's F days forecasted for here, and then 70's F for the weekend.
Can I make a request of our friends to the north to turn off the Nova Scotia wildfires? The smoke is making it hard for some people to breathe down here.....

We've had a wet March and April but May has been really dry and warm. This dry heat is beautiful though. I'll take it any day over the humid stew we regularly get. Supposed to be +90F again today.
The only downside is the mosquito population has exploded in the last couple weeks. Oh and everything is on fire... |

Last night on my walk it drizzled some so I got a little wet. Didn't really mind, was still an enjoyable walk.
Today is a lot like yesterday. Cloudy, and 59°F. High is forecasted to be 73°F. I like this weather. In a month or so summer weather will be here so I'm appreciating this cooler weather while we have it. |

Cloudy and 61, with 100% chance I'm wearing my company hoodie in my office.
Yesterday, it was bright sunny at teh beach when I left, only to get home to completely grey covered skies ; (

New record that we didn't need, the last time it was 99°F in Ottawa was in 9 Aug 2001.
The last 100°F was over 100 years ago on the 13 July 1921. https://www.currentresults.com/Yearl...emperature.php |

What a difference a day makes...Rain forecasted for a few days. Maybe it will help getting rid of that yellow pollen that covers everything.

It peaked at 94.6 F'in degrees, and still sunny here. There are popup strong thunderstorms about 20 miles to the west and 35 miles to the east, that are strangely moving to the SSW and staying away from us for now.....

Saturday we had sun with the dawn. Mostly shorts and a hat all day, mid-70
This morning when I went out to continue garden work shortly after 8, had to come back in and get a shirt because water was falling out of the sky. Around 1:30 (while I was napping) the sun broke thru. Spent an hour in Palacio Del Sol reading, then finished destroying snails. High today also low 70

More perfect weather -- 70s -- but forecast for Tuesday is for 95F! Hot! (Tuesday is the day that the Great Pyrenees dog gets her grooming, which should help her comfort factor.)
