We were watching the same game. No matter how hard they play their defense, they still suck at defense. It's their system; they don't have any system. Their main defense consists of Chandler doing ALL the work, plus a few of the guys going for steals here and there. Bulls had quite a bit of open shots, but they just didn't fall. Korver shot a million times, but Knicks were so lucky none of them fall.

Here's why Knick's defense dropped so much on the 4th quarter: Chandler and Stoudamire is dead tired. It takes a lot of energy physically and mentally to play defense during crunch times. It's a lot more effective when you have an actual system to rely on. D'antoni has no defense system, so he relies on the players to run around and be on Code Red the whole game. I don't think it's the players' fault that they collapse at the last quarter. The bulls were just more organized, even with their sub par offense.

I think you nailed it right on. Anyone who thinks the Knicks play defense simply doesnt know basketball, or haven't been watching them play. They TRY harder against the Bulls but that wasn't defense. If you ever watch how they defend on Pick and Roll you would see that there is a major flaw in their help D. They switch too often when they dont need to on picks. Finally, without Chandler, no one really rebounds the ball. Too often do they give up crucial offensive rebound because they are so anxious to run down on offense.

I was referring to the last minute in over time. Lebron had a semi-open 3 at the minute mark, from the side I think and missed. Wade had a contested 3 after the in bound at the around 0:20 I'm guessing, and missed. At their last attempt, Wade went all over the court and finally finds Lebron for another 3 that he missed again. That one was semi-open, too.

Sorry if my times are a bit off, because these are all from my memory, I didn't really check the game again. If you've asked me right after the game I'd be able to tell you in better details. But about that last shot in the 4th quarter, Wade missed. It wouldn't matter if it's really close, or air ball; a miss is a miss. He was also guarded very tight too. He made a contested fade away and missed.

What I wanted to say is, Spoelstra should've draw some play to free up Chalmers, Miller, or even Jones, depending on who's on the floor.

To me, I trust a open shot by a pure shooter over any superstar at the last minute, unless you're MJ.

Most definitely. Two of the best teams in the whole league. I would treat the Eastern finals as the NBA finals. Heats vs. Bulls.

i don't understand the heat, they have 2 of the best players in the league right now, and a decent bench but they continue to struggle? Lebron doesn't deserve a ring loosing to a team that was missing their MVP, they should've treated this like a play off game. The whole heat team are a bunch of divas and only play hard when they have to. they do it almost every game, allow the opposite team a lead and then they play hard to catch up. I'm a lebron fan but i was laughing at the kid with the sign that said "tickets $2,000, parking $10, lebron ringless = priceless"

its obvious these guys dont take regular seasons games serious enough, its pathetic but they are vets and know rings aren't won in march...just wait till the playoffs.
