I was 22 when the picture was taken. I had about a month remaining on my 12 month tour. Never understood why the Army called it a "tour." Made it sound like a vacation or something.

Thanks for your kind words. I've more or less gotten used to managing 2 lives. She's happy.

VA ordered lab tests tomorrow due to 3 "presumed" health afflictions due to AO exposure.

And they will have to add thousands more septic trucks to take away the daily sewage as they don't have an underground system.

If you google "where does Dubai dump their sewage" it will explain that there is 1 [one] very old sewage treatment in Dubai and 10 thousand of these trucks and sometimes the sewage is dumped into storm drains and ends up washing up on the beaches. They built a very modern looking city but did not bother to install a sewer system. This is one aspect of Dubai that I am sure they would not like to discuss ~YouTube.

Slight correction, Mecca doesn't need sewage trucks... they got an underground system..... still I had no idea that Dubai didn't have one...very interesting, and thanks for sharing.
