Chicago has some good food.

Purple Pig is good. Their duck confit is cooked for like XX hours. They also have many other delicious meals.

Xoco is good (Rick Bayless - fast food)

The Gage

Yolk has pretty decent breakfast

Next time I am there I am going to try out Grant Achatz's new restaurants.

Go check out Eataly, it's a pretty cool place

If you do go there, don't bother with the pizza/pasta. Get a sandwich, either the fried steak or Chicken/Eggplant Parmigiana, with garlic bread and hot peppers. If you're feeling brave, get a pizza puff too. Lemon ice is also nice.

What I lack in slave driving skills, I make up for in grammatical skills, like knowing the difference between "then" and "than".
