My Apple Magic Mouse 2's are all in storage. I use an old Magic Mouse 1 with a third-party rechargeable battery pack and wireless charging on my office iMac. The slider rails are worn pretty thin now, and I will need to figure out how to transplant them from a MM2 or buy a used MM1 if I ever return to my office full time.

(*) Maybe I'm the only person who ever wore the surface off of a laminate desk top with a mouse? I have to clean the slider rails on my Apple Magic Mouse weekly with an alcohol wipe to remove the crud/shavings that it picks up from the desk surface.....

Since this is a car forum, I'll draw a parallel. The computer mouse is sort of like the manual transmission. Slow and inefficient, yet fun and exhilarating.
