The Pacers had trouble with Atlanta during the regular season. This was not really the case with the Wizards.
In fact, the Pacers have won 11 of the last 13 games against the Wizards. It's just a favorable match-up for Indiana. Regular season results against Wizards (2-1): Nov. 29: Washington 73 Indiana 93 Jan. 10: Washington 66 Indiana 93 Mar. 28: Indiana 78 Washington 91 I think the Pacers have the potential to sweep the Wizards, particularly if they play like they did against the Hawks in Game 7. However, I think it's more likely that the Pacers win the first two at home, split in Washington, and then close it out at home.

I am over here really pulling for RAPTORS and all of Canada!
BUT the fact is so is MIAMI lol!!! Let's face it though, Miami does NOT want to see Brooklyn, KG, Pierce and Co.

Here are some of the things that have happened in the Pacers locker room since March: - Roy and Paul double teamed a random chick and accidentally "crossed swords" (not my words) - Roy found out Paul banged his (Roy's) fiancee. Looks like they've gotten over the weirdness now.

I got a kick out of the way my buddy phrased it. Like a middle school student.

Parsons and beverly switch before the play starts from the direction of either Harden or the coaches. Lillard lulled Parsons to sleep, but parsons was 2 steps behind at least and didn't even get screened. |

With all the mention of how historic this year's first round NBA Playoffs have been with an unprecedented five games 7's, a record 8 overtime games, all those games with a margin of victory of less than 3 points, crazy number of 4 point plays, etc.., blah blah blah blahhh... ultimately there were really no upsets and the teams that were supposed to win ending up winning and closing out at the end.
The only series that could be considered an "upset" was Brooklyn over Toronto (6 vs 3), but with all the playoff experience with Pierce, Garnett, and even Deron Williams (Dallas product ) under their belt, I wouldn't call that exactly an upset since dudes like Lowry, Demar Derozan, Johnson, and Valanciunas have barely any. Anyways, looks like my original picks of Indiana and San Antone in the Finals are still good. However, Indiana is still giving me pause. Washington is playing great as a team and WTF is up with Roy Hibbert? This dude is 7'2" with a max contract and has been basically invisible throughout the postseason. He should be grabbing more rebounds on size alone. But as long as Miami or OKC don't win it all this year, that's all I want. I still think the Spurs are just too hungry and will exact revenge. But I am looking forward to the second round match-ups. All of them look really good on paper. But the freakin Mavs... Had a real legitimate shot to win the series against the Spurs going up 2 games to 1 with a lead late in the 4th in game 4. That flagrant foul/ejection on Blair sealed their fate. Pretty wack. |

I'm glad we got Brooklyn to play, it's better competition. Funny thing about the Heat is that is the smallest teams that gives them the most trouble, not the big teams. Brooklyn got a lot of different line-ups they can throw at the Heat, and it has been establish now that Johnson is their go to guy and he has been pretty good lately in the 4rth quarter. However to me all this means is that the games will be fairly close but I don't expect Brooklyn to win more than a game, in fact I actually expect Brooklyn to take the first game and then the Heat to sweep and take the next 4. Heat 4-1 IMO feel free to disagree #GOHEAT
