We won't know until HAM makes his official move to Maranello, but Ferrari would be fools not to embrace what a 7-time champion brings to the table and keep everything the same. Ferrari can do all the media and promo their way but when it comes to racing, HAM input has to count for something, period.

This will be a chance for Ferrari to learn something and change to this era of racing and not live off of the past because it's clearly not been working for them. Ferrari today is equivalent to the Dallas Cowboys - has all the resources to be successful, yet continue to live off of past success and too stubborn to change because they think their way is better.

Long-term, Ferrari might suffer giving up 9-10 years of age and racing between HAM (39) and SAI (30), but this is absolutely the right move for Ferrari where the grid is as close as it's been and we head towards a new change in regulations. For what HAM has accomplished with Mercedes since 2022, it would be foolish to think he wouldn't have more success in the Ferrari given where both Mercedes and Ferrari are today.

maybe, but this was driver error. Hammy just lost it. Not a colission or so.
The car might be unstable or so, but in the end it's the driver that goes faster than the car can handle.

I guess…but weird circumstance how the car just lost the rear without any real input and when RUS experienced a similar incident in qualifying but with all the gravel runoff’s, it could only end in one way - DNF.

Don’t think you can play it that safe this late in the season. You need points and in Lando’s current situation, you’d probably want a DNF if you crash out because now you’re just losing points because you’re too afraid to drive a bit aggressive within the rules.
