I'd absolutely prefer to see much closer racing...not bothered if Hamilton never wins another race. The mixed up races at Istanbul and Portugal have been some of the best of the season.
At the same time, I live in this universe, where the reality is that Verstappen isn't as good as Hamilton. Doesn't matter how much and your buddy like to pretend that he is.

FTFY. There is absolutely zero evidence to support your assertion that HUL is better than Perez, my friend. HUL has zero podiums in 10 years and is approaching 200 races in F1. PER, on the other hand, has shown his mettle and has been around to help tRacing Point punch above their weight for YEARS. PER will give VER too much trouble at RBR.

They would much rather have the driver who is less likely to challenge Verstappen jnr.

Was never much of a Vettel fan back in the day...but I think I misjudged him. The last couple of years I've really grown to like him.
