So speaking of internet gratification, I'm pretty new to this online dating app thing, and I get the feeling a lot of people are only on it to gain followers on Instragram and/or Snapchat. Linking the IG account is fine, but if the person isn't gonna bother at all with an intro I ain't bothering, just seems like a desperate grab for more followers.

I also feel it's indicative of the shallow/narcissistic nature of modern culture. Call me crazy, but I don't need 100 pictures in a profile. If you're pretty, a couple (good) pictures and something of substance in the word spot should be enough to peak interest.
