Not a hundred percent sure, tbh. Most likely Cherokee or Shawnee. My ancestors were here early and Kentucky was the main area for them on the pre-civil war days and many decades thereafter.

I was in my youth fascinated by Indians and the Indian bow and arrows ..That's why I had a bow and arrows for about 10 years and mostly during the night they were in my sleeping room ..
Of course I had a hairband and a chicken feather in my long black hair as well !
My parents were really anxious (with a good reason) because it were no toys and the arrows had the real metal points meant for the hunt !
As far as I remember ...I was twice almost final destination !
