There's some kind of event literally every weekend throughout the year at Buttonwillow. Many events, you can show up and sign the waiver and go check out the scene. NASA events in particular have heavy participation of all kinds of cars, so it's fun to wander through the paddock. The main building has a 2nd story observation deck where you can see quite a bit of the track.

I thought you were joking. Had to Google it. Nope. You weren't joking. That's a serious back piece. I'm not one to hate on other's tattoo choices but when you have as much money as he has, and your committing to multiple sessions over maybe 15 hours, you'd think he would have maybe picked a better artist. I have to jump in here. 1.) Had no clue Affleck had this tattoo. Wow, that's a commitment. 2.) So many things wrong with placement, direction and flow. 3.) This really pains me to say, so much. That's not a phoenix, that's a peacock. Note the "eye" in the tail feather, also note the crest on top of it's head. Poor Ben, not only did he get a bad tattoo, it's straight up a peacock.

Insider tattoo artist info, I always liked using greater birds of paradise or long-tailed widow bird as images for reference in drawing a phoenix. Whoever Ben used as an artist, straight up did him dirty; unless they were learning and it was a free tattoo and one of the first 10.

Oh man, you're right. The funny thing is HE referred to it as a phoenix in interviews as do any number of articles about it. I even read an article where a professional tattoo artist with 20+ years in the industry was commenting on it and even called it a phoenix. Everyone missed that. King Rudi you need to figure out how to get a hold of Ben and alert him. Instagram maybe? He needs to know the truth!
