Anyone want to fund me to design a High Pressure Fuel Pump replacement?

BMW was early to the GDI game and now the industry has matured to where HPFPs are much cheaper and more compact. On top of that, the fact that the N54 DI system is the biggest limiting factor on this platform is silly. We have these huge, high dollar piezo injectors that have never been able to be used to their full potential. Port injection is simple, but a step backward technology wise.

So, ya hmu. I might just do this to freshen up my design skills in case I'm job hunting in the near future.
