Edit: I uploaded this twice from my phone - once after rotating. So f*** it. This is how you feel after drinking it.

Evan Williams Bottled in Bond. Very good daily for dirt cheap price.

Friend of mine did a low to mid priced taste off and he picked it as his 2 and I PICKED IT AS #1. Right in front of my usual Elijah Craig.

It's one of their best sellers for a reason. Delicious!

Interesting, I always thought both would have too much artificial sweeteners but apparently the flavour is natural. Someone told me they were good and the reviews online are positive but I ignored that thought. Time for me to buy both

I used to always use cc as a mixer but I tried it recently straight and I like it. Has orange tones to it. I like it

I have a non discriminating tast when it comes to bourbon. I can not tell the difference between Heaven Hill and JD.

Is anyone else in my shoes. Since you guys drive BMW's I doubt it..lol

But as a lowly Subaru owner I suppose it goes with the territory.

I watched this exact video when I was starting out my whisky journey years ago and I found it offensive throwing out whisky like how he does it.

Did anyone pick up any BTAC bottles over the past week?

I struck out, but picked up Midwinter Nights Dram and 1792 Full Proof.

No BTAC for me this year. Found Weller SR on the shelf the other day. Not an expensive bottle, but a good drinker IMO and hard to find in my area. And the other bottle I received as a Christmas gift.

Thumbs up

For those who prefer a less sweet Crown. I highly suggest this:

Picked these up today. I keep hearing about the Crown flavoured whiskeys and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. The crown Apple smells and tastes great, on the sweet side but tastes authentic. The Maple is less sweet and a good blend between a whiskey and liquor, more whiskey tasting than the apple. Both are exciting and shouldn't be looked over. The fireball is great: nice and lively, Jameson and Makers are good
But I would call neither outstanding.
