and yes, I rarely drive in sports mode. not even on my volvo which is polestar optimised. the roads here are just not inspiring and free enough for the machines to stretch some muscles. please do come the third time. we welcome you! bet you miss the food here! |

Thanks a lot for the photos, I've seen the color in older cars, but I don't know if in the G60 is even more blue or G60's owners take better photos

No doubt the dark blue hue on the CB is beautiful. I wanted this color but the whole "Batmobile" look of the sapphire black won in the end. Black sapphire, black tints, with burgandy red interior. Can't wait to get it in my hands. Congrats on the car. Beautiful. Enjoy it and may God bless it. |

2 weeks after ceramic coating car and wheels. 1500 miles driven since coating being put on (don’t normally drive close to this much but had 3 events I needed to attend out of town, car has total of 2300 miles on clock owning it 5 weeks as of today), no washes yet (his first wash and check up is in 3 days) so car technically is very dirty but still looks clean! It’s been very difficult not cleaning it past 2 weeks, best self control I’ve ever displayed . Excited for his maintenance and check up detail this weekend! Fitted with 10mm front spacers and 12mm in rears (possibly thinking about going to 15mm in rears)

Nice to hear Cape York Green stays pretty. I have to wash my Tanzanite Blue almost every day. It’s ceramic coated, but still a bitch to keep clean. Rain, yellow pollen, more rain. Looking forward to summer. I might buy a car cover.

No, north of Seattle. Lots of trees, fir, pine, cypress, maple, cottonwood (the worst!). Once the yellow pollen is finished, then it will be the big white puffs of cottonwood. It looks like snow accumulation on the side of the road.

Agree with all the above - that CYG looks really nice! How much of the “staying clean” is down to the wrap vs the underlying color?

Has anyone wrapped the side skirts & the rear to paint match their 5er? I’m seriously contemplating doing that on my Oxide Grey 540. Way too much black for my liking.

Yep Oxide Grey and interior is black. At times it’s quite similar in appearance to my M5 Competition which was Donington Grey but other times there’s a golden tint to it.
Overall very happy with my choice. BTW probably not the right place to discuss this but what exactly is the point of the driving modes when you can change any aspect of them other than in Sport mode? |

Congratulations! Beautiful looking car! Is that Oxide grey? More pictures please when you have a chance. I'd love to see what the differences are with the 2025 model compared to the 2024 (other than xDrive40 is now available). What else is different compared to my eDrive40?
I love how your car matches the cabinets in your garage. Are those real deer in the driveway or did you Photoshop those in?
