Dinner plus leftovers for lunch.

Two balls of pizza dough. One for the pie and the other one for the freezer.

Had some week old sourdough bread. Cut it into cubes for croutons and fried it in olive oil. Sprinkle with a little salt. They never usually make it to a salad.

Came home yesterday to a week-old baguette.

EVOO, Italian seasonings, garlic powder and pepper. Will be using some later for my French onion soup.

Egg salad with celery, green onions and chive from the garden. Food processor for a few seconds. (Starting to harvest some snap peas and beans.)

chassis I can't thank you enough for this delightful recipe. Easy to make and with so many variations, you can't go wrong. A nice switch for the usual potato salad, coleslaw etc...

Looks great! Tabbouleh and its regional relative, the Croatian-inspired "Korčula" salad are great ways to use fresh veggies with a common theme of parsley, tomatoes, EVOO and lemon juice.

Those four items are the foundation and others can join the party to make many great salad variations.

I had Korčula salad today for lunch with grilled flatbread, another foundational salad pairing.

Boiled, skinned and pickled beets with roots and greens saved for later. Very nutritious.

Morning buns in the afternoon. Croissant dough, cinnamon sugar and orange zest. The whole house smells like cinnamon orange.

Potato salad with mayo, grain Dijon, celery and green onions.

And mash with butter, cream and peppercorn.

I have a convection oven but i didn’t use it. Should have though, the ones in the center look a little pale. They do smell great.

Galette d'oignons et de patates avec cheddar sur une pâte philo.

First time trying to make it. Not perfect but really tasty. A nice switch from pizza and easily made.
