I think PSU should represent the Big10 and OSU should sit.. only because once again we see that this system is still FLAWED and that an 8 team playoff is needed and the PAC10 conference champ should also be represented.. Agree on 8 teams - conf champs from 5 power conferences + 3 at large. Or 6 teams, with only one at large. Conf championship should be heavily weighted IMO. Unfortunately this format doesn't seem to be in the cards.

They won't put osu and Penn state in. They won't snub uw. I would argue uw is the 2nd time best team in nation and more complete than either osu or clemson

Only debate should be whether OSU'S one loss and strength of schedule trumps PSU's conference title and head-to-head win. Alabama, Clemson and Washington should all be in under current format.

If PSU gets in over OSU, WA could be 3 and PSU 4. But more likely WA 4 and OSU / Clemson in the middle as 2 / 3 or 3 / 2 I'm guessing given that OSU is 2 now.

I wonder how big the spread will be for Alabama/Washington. USC is playing some legit football right now, since they made the QB change to Darnold. They easily handled the Huskies a few weeks ago. USC will probably be favored by vegas.

Nah, I think Huskies are more likely to get prison shanked than rolled, and Penn State might get gang beaten with a bat.

And then when your team doesn't make the playoffs, then a 8 team system is FLAWED. I also see you conveniently left out the Big 12.

When you expand the playoffs, you just end up with watered down schedules and teams who are okay with 2 losses. Whatever happened to being perfect? (Or trying to be)

Big12 should be represented as well.. which is why I prefer expanding to an 8 team playoff. Perfect records are nice but if you hadnt played decent competition then its a popularity contest. Settle it on the field after conference championships in the playoffs.. 8 teams can cover enough of the conference champions if need be
