It's not the rear wing . The whole RB20 just s@cks .
The RB20 has a fundamental design flaw...

Yeah . As I said , Checo crashed a $4.5Million hole in the Red Bull budget cap.
But they won't fix the RB20 with the $4.5Million , because upgrades work like downgrades ..
That's why all the upgrades have been removed because the car ran like a stupid donkey (!)
A complete new Red Bull car is required , but that is planned for the 2025 season.
In other words : The 5H1T is real at this moment...

RB for sure is the 4th team now. NOR even got the FL.
My money is on NOR now for the WDC.
But no teamorders within McLaren. That's pretty admirable.
That said, if McLaren is still this good next year, PIA is just as much a WDC contender as NOR, as he's just as good. You want to keep that peace otherwise next year could be a disaster.

Neither one js anything besides a mid fuelder in a fast car. McLaren should have kept Carlos and let Lando walk - Carlose would easily ve winning if he was at McLaren.

I actually don't think McLaren goofed with the two-stop strategy. The one-stop was a risky and bold call and it didn't sound like McLaren could've made it work anyway.

A better question maybe: where did the race pace that RBR had on Friday go on Sunday? It had looked close in practice between all four teams. And then Max finishes 30-35 seconds behind Oscar and Lando on Sunday! That's arguably worse than what happened in Zandvoort. It still boggles my mind that the RB20 went from dominant in the first four races to ... whatever we want to call this...

It's indeed very speculative whether or not the McLaren would've managed a 1 stop. Certainly Norris' car had a lot of tyre wear.
However the hards have been known to degrade to a certain point and from there on stay consistent or sometimes improve a bit. I think that was what happening on LEC car.
But if that would happen on a McLaren...who knows...

Not only from friday on saturday, but from Q2 to Q3.
Max was way slower in Q3 (I believe he did a 1:19,6 or so in Q2 and was in the 1:20's in Q3) whereas most others improved in Q3 which is normal.

What RB is experiencing now looks like what Mercedes had most of last year and the year before, that performance just suddenly falls away and they don't know why. Toto said numerous times before new races that they now understand, and then after the race that they don't understand

It's blatantly obvious that Max can't win without the best car. This is now 6 races in a row he lost. The Max Factor is basically "have the best car"

They (Red Bull) changed the RB20 setup for the Monza Q3 (in a hurry)! to close the gap with McLaren.
But they made it worse and the gap grew from a 0.3 to a 0.7 sec. gap.

The 2024 RB20 was at Zandvoort 1 sec. faster than the 2023 RB19 (!)
This means McLaren , Mercedes and Ferrari improved a lot..
In other words : At this moment the RB20 is driving backwards by a design flaw..
If your upgrades work like a downgrade , It's a disaster (!)
