RB looking like the team to beat here. Hopefully the rain stays away during the race. Also good to see 10+ cars in the midfield within 1 second of each other, looks to be a good maiden race in Miami.

In regards to the wing and why it is innovative: These are the 2018 wings with massive slots at the end plates used to generate really powerful outwash. This was stopped in 2019 and specifically the 2022 regulations which required the wing end tips to be joined to the end plates and the nose cone. This is why teams are angling the end plates to generate the desired out wash effect. What Mercedes did was really taper and angle the end plate connection to create this slot, which in turns forms a very power outwashing vortex that is extremely desired by teams yet was limited by the 2022 regulations. I suspect alot of teams to adopt this eventually. It's not meant to solve porpoising, but it's meant to improve flow everywhere else.

I think Charles had some Pu issues (with his new Pu) with it cutting out yesterday in fp2, so it could be why he is running the old one today. It is remarkable how they're able to do a complete engine swap, flush all the fluid and bleed bubbles out of the coolant in 90 mins. All without making a mistake.
