Imagine how furious Mercedes and Toto would be if VER was BEHIND HAM and sent him into a wall at 51G and extended their points lead today.

We can argue all day about what happened but I am just glad a driver didn't die today. I was growing concerned by the second as it took the camera crew a good while to show Max after the crash. That wait was quite unnerving.

Did anyone else see HAM offer Tom Cruise his sweat rag? Thought that was odd. Also felt like his celebration was a bit dramatic but I understand 8 victories at a home GP is special. But still.

That's my Ferrari for you. Luck into the lead and engine software takes a giant dump. If LEC didn't loose time battling his engine maybe HAM wouldn't have gotten to him in time

I dunno, seemed like a racing incident to me really. Hamilton had the faster car at the start and Max was very aggressively defending. I think Hamilton would have got around eventually on the upcoming straight out of the S’s, so he might have been a bit impatient. I just don’t see anything other than the two championship leaders going all out in front of a massive crowd. Love the competition.

Speaking of the crowd, I have no idea what’s going on in Britain. You read the news and they’re locking everything down again because of the Convid scam, yet there’s 130k people there with no muzzles on like tyranny doesn’t exist. Good for them but honestly confused about what the hell is going on over there. Just happy to see that many people breaking the conditioning.

when there is a contact to front wheels at those speeds loads, steering wheel moves strongly as long as control arms etc is not broken.. its not a PS5 F1 game Bubbles there is direct link between front wheels and the steering wheel as you know..

Max has pulled the same move time and time again against multiple drivers in previous years. Lewis was smart/cautious to back out on previous turn. If the roles were reversed no one would be complaining. This rivalry type of incident won't be the first nor the last as its happened before in F1 history.

If you want to make comments like that, every race weekend there some sort of incident or crash, there should be no celebration "out of respect" for the driver in the accident. Max is taking this way too personal - nothing that happened today was a direct attack at him with intent or malice. Unfortunate race event that could happen any weekend. Like he said, thankfully he's safe, move on.
