i5 scheduled for production! What's your build?

Mine just arrived at the dealer. My SA says he’ll send me a video of it so, I’d say yes you can take pics. Posting them though is another story. I’m going to try and get over there tomorrow or Saturday if possible.

Edit: Dealer just sent me a video of mine. Looks great! Just need to find some Black wheels and we’re all set.

I actually don’t know. Google search says it is Manufacturer's Statement of Origin

Ordered, locked into production.
I am afraid I don't have the same US rendering but will be:

I5 M60 - Vegas Red, 21'' suspensions, black veganza
I didn't go for 1) Crystal as I find it stupid 2) Carbon package

Other than that, hype! Now I just need to find the courage to shell out another 5k for winter wheels and tires

I stopped by BMW Alexandria in Virginia and they had 4 i5’s on the lot. They look great.

I agree about the crystal. One reviewer said the glare was bad. I also have no use for sunshades, power or not. It’s gloomy in Seattle. Luckily, in the US you can add the sky lounge which gives me everything except sunshades and crystal.

My dealer supposed to get car today. He said if it gets in early enough so they can prep and charge the car, I can pick up tomorrow. Looks like BMW sent to dealers closest to NYC on day one (yesterday) and expanded the radius for today (car went to in transit last night).

I just heard from my dealership that release date may be pushed back to November. Anyone else hear the same?

That is wrong as far as I know. I just wire money to dealer for tomorrow pickup. Very curious if other heard that - especially those planning to get car tomorrow or Monday.

I have a deposit down and the terms of the deal worked out. Car is scheduled to arrive at the dealership tomorrow and I was hoping to pick up all on Monday. I hope others can pick up their cars tomorrow!

I will let everyone know. My appointment is at 4 PM. They have all but $3000 of what I owe (putting balance on credit card), they have insurance cards, etc.

Took Delivery of my i5!! Dealer confirmed I was the first on the road with it.
Haven’t had much time to take decent pictures but will when I get back home.

And Yes it looks WAAAAY better in person than the photos can capture. I was blown away. Note: Tint scheduled for tomorrow

Congrats. Going to get mine in two hours. Dealer had said there was a 5% chance BMW would not let him sell. Glad to know one is out the door. I will point to this if necessary. I will post photos later as well.
