I could care less who is fastest, but you red bull fans seem to have a hard time seeing reality. It would be hilarious if redbull messed up the regulations and are really far back in the mid field.

Probably you never heard about the 2016 'Valkyrie project with code-name AM-RB 001 ?

But you heard from Adrian Newey ? Isn't it ?
So let me help you again ..

The well known Red Bull's aero designer A. Newey (Chief Technical Officer) is/was the designer from the Valkyrie !
In other words : A. Newey has the knowledge from the advanced aero technology and the Valkyrie is actually "a pure Ground-Effect car" with a open Venturi-Effect floor , powered by a 6.5 liter PU with 1,146 ponies ..With a Red Line at 11,000 RPM's and a topspeed of 402 km/h .
As you know , the 2022 F1 car is all about the Ground-Effect regarding the new FIA aero regulations ..

So , I'm pretty sure the RB18-B wont be Red Bull's trash can ....

The road car is irrelevant to the F1 car...

Just because Newey is part of the team doesn't mean redbull is infaliable to mistakes. Rb16 had huge rear end issues, and every redbull from 2014-2020 couldn't keep up to the mercedes. It's not a one man job, there are different departments that build a car that all can have mistakes. Honda could build a crappy PU as well, you never know the RB18 could be a trash can. Noone is immune to mistakes.

You know it's kind of crazy how rowdy you max fans are getting. You guys realized redbull barely won the drivers championship in 2021 and lost the constructors championship right? You're discounting Mercedes and literally acting like Mercedes didn't win the last 8 championships straight and like they can't build a winning car. Literally the only reason you are hating on Merc is because you know they stand the best chance at preventing max of winning. You guys literally only have one mind set if you don't support your precious baby max, then you're clearly the enemy and must be bashed to oblivion.


Don't forget these are all new regulations and anyone can get it wrong RB and Merc included. Who knows maybe Ferrari will be on top.

Then there was the last Newey designed "18"...the McLaren MP4-18. A car with so many problems...it never raced. "The new car crashed several times with very obscure reasons, failed the FIA side impact crash tests twice, and there was a severe problem cooling the engine, since the sidepods were made very narrow."

I'm telling you right now they look really promising, non of the sf1000 vibe. I'm saying they have a huge shot, they're making bold designs and they really could be the best team if their engine doesn't suck. Like Ferrari got all the little nuances that teams have exploited from the double tea tray, the under body cut, the over body cut, the front wing vortex generators etc.


When I look at the Ferrari concept I really see potential, when I look at the Merc concept I have some doubts. I'm not sure if the slim body method is the way to go, but it's Merc so you cant doubt them. Maybe the slim body approach really will flow to the rear better idk, maybe simpler is better I really don't know. But I wouldn't doubt Ferrari this year.
