Rebekah, I've been trying to locate a photo that puts me in mind of you. This raises suspicion that you have been very much a participant in our antics, but haven't revealed enough for me to formulate an image.

This reminds me of something that happened one night. My girlfriend and I were at Westlake Brewery a couple years ago in Westlake village. We were sitting in an open area where there were a couple couches. This young girl sat next to me and introduced herself. She said, “I can’t believe I’m meeting my first celebrity.” And, she said thank you and her friend took a picture of us. I just played along with her. And, I have no idea who she thought I was.

I was out for my lunch break from work with a co-worker once, and a female server freaked out when she saw me. "I'm your biggest fan, and was at your concert last night!" She asked me to sign an autograph, and even my asking her who I should sign it *from* didn't tip her off that she was mistaking me with somebody else.

I pulled one of her co-workers aside a few minutes later, and shared my experience about famous people out in public just wanting to be left alone and be treated as normal people. You can try a casual wink or thumbs up to see if they respond, but always let them make the choice to break cover...don't make a freaking scene in front of an entire restaurant full of people!

I'm sure that this got back to "my" biggest fan, and probably left her even more convinced that she was correct and I was trying to stay incognito.....
