Like, close to $600,000. Granted, the family was fucking loaded, but still dowry's are a huge determining factor in a marriage. It's horrible lol.


I went to India for wedding when I turned 18. Legit, 20 different people tried getting me married. "I have nice girl for you". Saw 2 of them, just for shits and gigs. Both were dimes. Both were horrible human beings. "I don't really cook, clean or doing anything. I like shopping. I don't want kids. Don't expect me to work. My daddy's the biggest (insert some industry) leader in the area." etc.

If your a US citizen, your basically in demand. If your rich, even better. It's a giant pissing contest there. Who has the better family.

No. My aunt got married to some dude a few years back. Dude ended up being gay (I really don't know).
