Ah, 911.........my father was a Captain for american airlines on the 777 out of JFK. That day he was off, so I was not worried, we lost people we knew, but nothing too bad (if there is such a thing).

What really sucked was about 10 days later when that AA airbus went down in Queens, that was aweful. We knew almost the entire crew, Flight Attendants and Flight Crew. I had actually been on a trip with them once when they were part of my dad's crew........I flew home that weekend, I didn't even know what to say.

Still love flying, love turbulance and love the planes. I will continue to live my life free and happy, if I am killed one day by the things that I love, so be it............so be it.

Dont forget this valley used to be a giant lake. Lake bonneville was the entire SL valley. It shrunk to the Great Salt Lake.
