Trying to figure out how much the series is meandering from the 'graphic novel' (picked up the first volume for cheap at a closing Borders store a while back). A lot of the prison storyline is very different so far. Maybe it'll fall back in line if it's Merel that leaves the g'ovner for the prison with the two women.

I'm right at the prison part on the comic, haven't had time to read further though. Seems pretty different thus far.

Man, I was so happy and so sad at the same time last night. Although, I was impressed with Lori's performance right before she had the baby. If she had been acting that good the entire show..maybe I wouldnt have disliked her so much. Oh well, shes gone now.


T-Dogg...what to say about our silent hero. He was always there when they needed him, sucks to see him go, but glad to see they put him in such a heroic ending, hopefully it wasnt all for nothing and Carol died anyway. Well...I guess he would have turned anyway, but still. Did anyone watch Talking Dead after the second showing of the episode. IronE Singleton(T-Dogg) was on with one of the producers...looked like he wanted to cry, it was impressive to see. It looks like the entire cast and crew are very close, which makes for better TV.

Its going to be very interesting to see what direction they take the show now. From the preview it seems we can safetly say Rick goes crazy next episode and is gonna go Zombie hunting. Andrew Lincoln is very good actor and I hope they let him show the dark side of Rick from the comics. It appears they will, especially when they showed him grabbed Glenn and shovin him up against the wall. In the comic he starts going crazy and talking on the phone with Lori..its deep, Id love to see something like that. Not only does it show how far gone Rick is, but Carl sees it and makes sure to take care of his dad. Of course all this takes place after they leave the prison, so like I said before, its going to be interesting to see which way they go with the show.

Hated to see T-Dog go. It's funny because duringthe Season 3 previews, the actual actor was saying how you'll see way more of T-Dog. Ends up getting owned half way through the season haha. So much for that.

Will definitely be interesting to see what happens next. There's only like 6 of them left in the group, and one of them only has 1 leg

Well, Rick has lost his mind. Kill him off unless he can redeem himself in the next episode. Daryl is simply the best. Last, I can't put my finger on it, but there is something remarkable attractive about a bad ass sword caring loner who can kick anyone's ass... Think she likes getting her hair pulled?

So they dug three graves? Who's the third body??? From what I see Carol is still alive, but they showed 3 dirt humps towards the end. I thought just lauri and T dog died?

As of right now, we dont know if Carol is alive or not, apparently in the preview for the next episode they find something of hers. It was late and I wasnt paying attention so Im not sure, but Daryl did say something about Carol.

This episode was pretty good, Rick going crazy, the arena, Michonne finally shown kicking some ass. Fat zombie at the end with a belly full of Lori made me laugh. The phone call finally came too! Rick is offically a nut job.

They found a piece of her shirt where T-dawgs body was but never showed them finding her body. At the end of last nights episode Daryl put a flower on top of one of the graves. COuld that be Carols? They were really close.
I've read the comic and I'm glad they've changed up the story line. I wouldn't want to watch it if they were the same. Can't wait to see what happens when Merel and Daryl reunite. One of them is gonna take the other out.. Who will it be??

in the comic its his dead wife. but I think the will change it for the show.

looks like they kept the show in line with the comic. story got real interesting this past episode with the group running into Merle......and next episode Michonne makes it to the prison.

also found it interesting that with enough zombie guts smeared on you.....the zombies just ignore you as if you were one of their own.

Rick and Glenn figured that one out in Season 1. When they were pinned down in Atlanta, they covered themselves to get to a truck a couple blocks down. It only worked for a little bit though because it started to rain and it washed the smell off them.

This season is by far the best season. So much happening, and so much of it different from the comic. Makes it much better to not know exactly whats gonna happen. With Michonne finding the prison, its going to be very interesting what Daryl thinks about his brother being alive and kidnapping Glenn and Maggie. I bet Daryl kills Merle when they go to save Maggie and Glenn.

The only thing I dont understand is that I could have sworn I read somewhere about them making the Prison/Woodbury in to 2 seasons. Its moving so fast that I really cant see them pushing it to 2 seasons unless they start throwing in stuff that has nothing to do at all with the comic.

This season is by far the best, because killing zombies gets boring after a while right, especially walkers. I thought I remembered seeing running zombies in the first season when Rick first got to Atlanta.

Who saw this weeks episode?
I thought it was alright, Ive been reading a lot of people didnt like it. I think it will have a lot to do with what goes down later on in the season. Like the scene with Andrea and Milton, I am pretty sure the Gov was much more invested in that experiment than he lets on. Andrea is really starting to annoy me..although, that ass shot was nice.

I like the different expressions on Michonnes face throughout the episode too, like when she aksed Beth if they cleared the prison by themselves, and when she stood back and watched how they work in forest. I think she is realizing that there are actually people that know how this works. Dude in the cabin in the woods..still dont get that part, they didnt really need that.

Glenn is a beast, took out that walker even when he was tied up, and took multiple hits from Merle. He is a really good actor on top of that, the look in his face when they had Maggie in front of him, man, I felt his pain. On a side note..Maggie topless..yum. Glenn had Merle worried for a second, until he said Andrea was still with the group...then Merle knew he was lying.

So next week is the mid season finale, and from what Ive read, we got another character is gonna be revealed. I dont want to ruin it for anyone that doesnt know, so I wont say who, but it should be good. Also, Im guessing with the introduction of this new character, someone else is going to have to die. All I know is it better not be Daryl, Norman Reedus pretty much makes this show. Hes the better actor out of all of them, he brings that badassness from Boondock Saints with him.

I guess we will see whats gonna happen, next weeks episode looks like its gonna be awesome. Much better than last seasons mid season finale. Of course, pretty much the entire first half of last season was looking for Sophia, not like this season where its just awesome after awesome.

Gotta say they've done a good job with the show so far. More intense scenes. Someone a few posts back mentioned running zombies. I think the idea is all these walker critters are getting pretty rotten by now, I guess that's how they can just whack their brain pans open so easily, so I guess it's slowing'em down. It's cool to see Glenn go from a wet behind the ears scrounger to a bad ass. I really thought for a moment they may have been going to whack him from the show also.
