As a lifelong Bills fan, I'm *not* looking forward to today's "MVP" battle with the Ravens. Besides Lamar Jackson having to make his MVP case against the presumptive front-runner Josh Allen on his home turf in front of the Bills Mafia chanting "MVP, MVP, MVP" whenever he makes a play, Derrick Henry has historically steamrolled the Bills' defense any time they have met.....

Really impressive show by Wash last night. That Daniels is gonna be a problem. What a turnaround by a formerly really bad team. How bout some media love for Dan Quinn who out Campbelled the famed Lions coach. How many 4th downs did he convert? And Dallas ran this guy out of the building.....

I did not expect the Lions to go down last night. Just wow. Good for the Commanders and Jayden Daniels.
So excited for the games today. I'm rooting for the Rams against Philly. As for the later game I like both teams.

Nah, nothing against Philly. It's just the Rams were my pre season pick to represent the NFC in the superbowl and it feels good to be right.
I need something to feel good about as my Vikes crapped the bed last week.

I would never have thought the Commanders would be in the NFC championship game at the beginning of the year! Congrats to them and their fan base!

As far as the remaining teams left available in the playoffs, hoping to see the Commanders and Bills in the Super Bowl!

The Rams had every opportunity to win the game. You can thank my team’s stupidity for letting Saquon go. The Bills were very fortunate they won the turnover battle they took their foot off the gas most of 2nd half.

There are 28 teams already eliminated and in silly season until next year, and two more going to join them today in the AFC and NFC Championship games as the winners advance to the Superbowl.
AFC - Chiefs versus Bills NFC - Eagles vs Commanders As a lifelong Bills fan, I would really like to see the Bills play the Eagles in the Superbowl, since the Bills have already met every other NFC East team in a Superbowl except the Eagles. I think that the entire country is tired of seeing Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Andy Reid, Taylor Swift, and Jake from State Farm all over the TV/streaming commercials. The rookie QB in Washington doesn't know that he's supposed to be scared from the big game pressure, and that is dangerous for whoever they play from now on. .

Cowboys hire Brian Schottenheimer...lol. No one wanted any part of coaching Dak.
Dak's ceiling was years ago and he is $89mill cap hit in 2025. Highest cap hit for any player. |

Jones is Senile and completely out of touch with reality. Dak is still considered to be a Top 5 QB when healthy. He was second in MVP voting just 2 seasons ago. He is not the issue. Jerry Jones is. He has no desire to give up his authority or lime light as the GM, President and Owner of the Cowboys. That being said, he had always planned to hire from within and continue his pattern of "Yes Men". Regardless as to what outsiders think or believe, this franchise is still the most prolific and profitable on earth. Naturally, that appeals to many would be Coaches. All that being said, some of my very well-heeled friends have decided enough is enough. They aren't buying Season Tickets or Suites next year or until "major change" occurs. I have been saying this for years now and I will NOT buy a ticket or a t-shirt until this old, Senile, clown, is out of the picture. I belive the uproar has finally reached a tipping point. But we will see... |

Ok guys, ppl are saying it's rigged again with the denied first downs at least twice and that joint possession controversy, to name a few. What say you?
Poor Bills, they almost had it. This is their mini 0-4 version to those SB losses way back when. Sucks. Go Eagles, I guess. |

I don't know..... A bunch of little things bit the Bills. I do think Josh Allen did get a first down on that QB sneak. But would it have mattered? The Bills still needed to go down the field a ways to score. The near catch by Kincaid on that 4th and 5 play with the Chiefs calling an amazing blitz. Then the Chiefs offensive play calls to get those two 1st downs late to ice the game. The Chiefs were the better team yesterday despite a couple questionable calls by the refs.

There were most certainly a handful of incidents where the refs suspiciously spotted the ball short of a first down.
Let's just hope that Josh Allen finally receives the MVP award that he rightfully deserves.....

What say you?, you asked. I was going to be silent on this topic, but since you asked, here it goes: I think the refs in general do an amazing job. Sure, they get it wrong from time to time, but a conspiracy in favor of a specific team?; I don't buy it. The refs are blasted on social media after every game by emotional fans from the losing team who often run their keyboards without knowledge of the NFL Rulebook. Even when a questionable call is challenged, fans from the losing team question the result of the challenge because it goes against their team or they have a bet on the game and they are going to lose money as a result of the call. In society, a lot of people don't like losers, but what they really can't stand is winners. When a team starts forming a legacy of any kind, out come the tinfoil hat crowd and the whiners who just love to hate on a winning team. The notion that a winning team might just be better prepared, better coached, more talented, hungrier to win, less prone to bonehead mistakes and stupid penalties, etc, doesn't enter the whiners' minds. For the past few seasons, the Chiefs have been the ones to hate. In a few years, it will be somebody else. Go to Youtube and watch a clip of any controversial call. Then read the comments on that clip. Each and every time the comments include the same types of responses, like: the ref called it right the ref called it wrong the video doesn't show the play well enough to decide the refs are bought and paid for by team x the NFL is corrupt Bottom line: No matter what call is made on a close or controversial play, it's going to be challenged by about half the people. Refs have an absolutely impossible job in that respect. When I was in sports in high school, I had a coach who taught said, "Bad calls are going to happen. Some will go our way. Some will go their way. Your job is to win by enough so a bad call against you won't change the outcome of the game". I've never forgotten that message. Go Chiefs Go Eagles May the best team win. |
