We all know the Eastern Conference is weak. Yes, with the exception of Boston, and Washington, the East is a joke. You really think Miami, and Atlanta are that good? I won't even talk about the rest of the Conference.

What remains this season is the two best teams. The Warriors had home court advantage and won by a margin. They are now 13-0 in postseason this year. What I want to know is when is somebody besides me going to cut the crap and simply state that the Warriors are a great basketball team and the Cavs are a great basketball team? If the first game is any indication, this will be a great Finals. |

Cavs played sloppy all night. 20 turnovers and 0 defense will do you in.
Still early in the series tho. They better wake up in Game 2.

So you're pretty much like me. You lived in a city but hated their local team(s).
I was in Seattle for a decade and despised (and still do despise) the Seahawks. Bandwagon fanbase, classless players, sleazy coach, you name it. I wasn't born or raised there so I had a 3rd party perspective. I can't tell you how many dorky techies I met at the WC game vs. Detroit who have only lived in Seattle for the past 5-7 yrs tops. They ditched their hometown teams or just didn't follow football period until it became fashionable to do so. |

GS played like trash too honestly. Bricked shots all over the place, sloppy play for much of the game (felt more NCAA than NBA), and Klay couldn't make a shot to save his life. There's simply a talent disparity with the addition of KD that put them over the top. They need to step it up too.

Lebrick has had the easiest route to the Finals of any "superstar" in the history of the NBA, save for Bill Russell. He started this super team craze, and now he's getting what he deserves. The NBA has sucked for fans for nearly a decade now cause of this super team nonsense. I'm enjoying the Ws give Leflop a taste of his own medicine. |

The luxury tax stuff was a great step to prevent big markets from making super teams via money, but if people want to play for less (and we're talking millions upon millions) to win then I can't say I have a problem with that. Sure, it may take a few years of FA moves and such to adjust if it becomes a trend, but I don't have a problem with it at all.

GS scored 21 points off of turnovers. Durant - 54% FG Curry - 50% FG Thompson - who really needs him when you have 2 MVP's James - 45% Irving - 45% Love - 31%

I'm still a LeBron fan even though he left Miami. You should've seen how fast I jumped that bandwagon, JK. But for real.

Your post made me think of another scenario for Flying Ace. Maybe he's a secret Warrior fan but he's too afraid to admit he's on this bandwagon thing, whatever that is. That must be it. |

you were probably straddling over the wagon's sides as they were still trying to mount the wheels on it?

I am going to the A's-Nationals game on Sunday, game will end about 3-4 hours before Game 2. Hoping, I don't run into the bandwagon when I'm trying to GTFO of Oakland without getting robbed.

Have fun at the game. Go A's. I hope you don't run into the bandwagon either. If you do you'll never know it. The bandwagon is cleverly disguised as Warrior fans. No worries. You should be out there in time to not have to witness it. Let's hope the game doesn't go into extra innings. If it does, you can just buy a Warrior jersey and a ticket and go watch a great team play basketball. Have a fun weekend. |

Second, fuck KD he's a huge bitch - and also an amazing talent. Third, Warriors in 5 (or even 4 at the rate this will go). Lebron is 1-7 in the first game of the finals so this is par....but Cleveland got wrecked and outside of them getting some better offense out of Love and the bench, it really doesn't look like they have the chops to dig out of any hole against the dubs.

Even tho I dislike Lebron I tip my hat to loyal fans like yourself. It must be a bummer to be viewed as another Lebron bandwagon despite actually being from Ohio.
