Pedestrian can be the best, sometimes.

French Laundry and Per Se, very similar. Once you get to this level of "food", it's just variations. Both in a different league vs Aquavit.

We did FL, but didn't splurge on wine pairings.

Per Se I went on expense account. The dinner bill was 5 figures for a group of us. An experience though.

Le Bernadin is more low key, but the food is incredible. Must try it.

Must wear a jacket....also.

Bobby Vans - lunchtime steak Sammich...yummmmm
Landmarc - used to bring my family there all the time. Kid friendly actually.
Prime and Beyond - serious steak at not so serious prices. Great aging process. Owners are Korean and very chill.
