Pretty good. Not blow my mind fantastic. Not sure what I would liken it to, maybe knob creek with more complex finish along the fruity or sweet line. Seemed like vanilla maybe lingering. Place I went to they must have no idea what it is gave me a solid double for cost of single.

Figured with all of the rum talk I should pick up some sipping rum, so I grabbed a bottle of Zaya.

Also found some Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky and it is superb. I might have to pick up a backup for that bottle.

Well I didn't know it was wine day yesterday so I just did a tasting of whisky and whiskey instead. Has some Hibiki, Bib and Tucker, and Glenmorangie Tusail. All very good choices.

It is a similar idea but the aroma and flavor seem to pick up the citrus a lot better. I only got a shooter of the Jameson IPA Cask stuff with a holiday pack so I am going off memory more there, but I think you really notice the IPA in the scotch more.

I did like the Jameson IPA and Stout casks though, pleasant surprise!
