They had one and it was a 1 to 3. I still think it's going to end up doing pretty good but unlike a lot of people I am still in the green and can afford to wait it out. Do I wish I would have sold on June 12th? Yes sir! I didn't and passed up a lot of profit. I guess we will see where it ends up.

I like to gamble for sure!

fun account opened today, lets see if i can get some gains. Last fun acct opened i bought 100 of sprint at $3.10, sold at $9

i made a huge mistake in selling my amzn shares instead of my 401k, had to invest in myself. 8 shares today would be way better than 4300.00

looking at some appl, amc, tsla, cgc, ndaq, kodk, maybe f too

I do 90% options. All my stocks are in my Vanguard account that I have an auto contribution every month and never look at it.

I wish I was smart enough to understand them because I'd probably play a little.

Typically most don't trade the infinite loss contracts which is called a naked call. This is where you write the call and collect a premium for it (what the buyer pays) and make money as the stock falls. If it goes up, then you are going to be liable for that and can lose an infinite amount since stocks have no cap where they can go "up".

You can hedge your positions though through spreads. The naked call is the riskiest position you can take in options to be in lol. If you want to learn, look into basic long calls and understand how it works, I'm sure you'll pick it up fairly quick and you can build up from there.

Naked calls and puts, condors, straddles, butterflies, vertical spreads (which I trade mainly.. bull call spreads) are all advanced strategies so once you learn the basics you can try those out after understanding how options work in greater depth.

It's just a lot to write out to teach here, maybe try YouTube videos or try tastytrade for options (good learning tool). Then use a paper trading account to apply what you've learned and test out some trades!

One of my Tesla calls 3 weeks ago cost me 5k and at peak was worth 40k in 1 week. Did I sell, no I got greedy. Still green but not near 40k lol.
Me and you both lol. I was up 400%+ on my WMT calls today. Sold them for around 200% gain instead. Not too stressed about it, went into inverse ETF's instead for the next couple of days.

I'd wait till Tuesday to see which way things are headed. Typically September is a choppy month.

I should have held onto Polymet. Fuck.
I sold at a loss because I was impatient and it was falling after the reverse split. Then today it rebounds plus some.

Junk. Fun is over with Tesla imo ... I'm looking at other EV companies that have more room to run.

You really think Tesla has no more room to run? With cyber truck and roadster plus what Elon is doing with everything else? Nikola and Nio are potential runners but that is long ways away without a proven concept

Yes, check out Lordstown motors! Cyber truck is ridiculously ugly & not a practical truck IMO.

Which would you rather have?

Competition with better consumer grade products. Higher production.

Check out Endurance truck I posted pic of. 350+ range, starting at $50k!

It's going to be sick!

Going to agree with you on this. I think Tesla got way too hyped up and they are running out of steam. That cyber truck looks like a piece of shit.

I would rather throw some money at Nikola and forget about it for 2-3 yrs and see where that goes. Might end up with nothing or might end up with 3x or even 10x your money. Their partnership announcement "might" be a good sign of things to come in the future for them.

The Cybertruck obviously, but that has very little to do with what Tesla's price will do in 5 years.

Top one looks better but it also looks like every other truck out there. I feel that Tesla is becoming fanboy trend just like Apple (I love apple products myself) and no matter how ridiculous cyber truck might look, people will still flack on it due to being “different” plus Tesla branding
