Ouch, that's 2 at home they've lost. Was it the bye week or were they looking past Carolina to the Saints this week?
I happen to think Bye's, despite their intention, are dangerous as teams can come back from them unfocused. |

I think your right about the bye week. We went into it really hot and came out ice cold. I hope we can pull it off in NO again but it looks tough

...well after this weekends game the Hawks have a BYE followed by the 2 biggest games of the season. Let's hope my theory is wrong.
In the meantime I hope S F and N O beat the C R A P out of each other this weekend! |

yea didn't see the name change coming. lol
anywho, we finally played another complete game. If percy had taken that kick back to the house, i think it may have caused the ground to shake. you could tell how excited the crowd was when he was back there... at least now he has a week to rest etc. Two monster games ahead.. |

I'm really am stunned that he made an immediate impact. I thought he would merely serve to be a distraction for their defense. Man, what a weapon. Hawks are now rolling, let's hope they stay focused through the BYE
In SF news, COMPLETE BS CALL ON BROOKS!! That hit completely clean, once Brees folded in half he slid into Brooks arm but that's irrelevant. |

Anyone else think that Sherman is not 100%? I happened to catch a little of Vikings radio last week mentioning this possibility, saying that they were going to go at him. Frankly, He got beat on several plays...

Man, check that whiplash, like a turtle coming out of his shell.
Sherman got flat out beat for the TD and the Pass inf call was a desperate grab by him because he again got beat. That's just not something we are used to seeing. They are mum on Browner, he may be done for the season. |

The D is looking pretty banged-up for the Hawks right now. I agree that Sherman looks slow, going back to the Atlanta game.
The bye week could not have come at a better time. Both offense and defense will be at nearly full strength for the Saints game, and that will be practically a first this season. Browner is a big loss though. |

Browner is out 4-6 weeks. Will be back for the playoffs. A first round bye sure would help...
I think our guys will be pretty focused through the bye, they know the storm is coming. |
