Wood fire ovens where it's at. One of my favorite pizza joints back in NYC is grandfathered in with wood fire oven - can't have them in the city anymore. I truly think a large part of the magic with pizza is that.

Your setup looks amazing btw.

There's a McMansion neighborhood near ours where we walk most nights. Several of the houses have huge outdoor patio/grill/pizza oven setups. When one of them is doing pizza or BBQ when we walk past, it's hard not to stumble in and attempt a party crash.

I've said it elsewhere on this board, but its not uncommon for me to get a text when I build a fire...'what'ch making?' precovid we had people coming over all the time, it was great. Hopefully we can do it again soon.

That said, my wife is guilty of liking pineapple on her pizza. I don't moan about it though because this nets me my very own pizza, which means more for me.

It's a great oven, as can fit 2 trays of chicken up front along side each other and all the vegetables in another tray down the back.

Also, have had up to 3 pizzas cooking at once.

I like the style and shape of it. It would fit perfectly on our lanai. I have a smoker, and a griddle and my grille just rusted into dust. Debating on a pizza stove or a new grille. I feel like I can make 90% on the griddle and not miss a grille.
Love the dogs too!
