On the plus side, they need her to open the cat food since they don't have opposable thumbs, so she'll probably still be alive when I get home.

Been raining every day for about a week. Today's the first sunny day in a little bit. High today will be about 57F. Cool, crisp air is still hanging on.

The snow/ice from yesterday started to melt. But, it's supposed to snow/rain again on Thursday.

Went for my nightly walk last night and the temp was in the 30s. Can't imagine doing that in the freezing snow. Brrr...

Not for his helicopter!

On a side note, helicopters don't actually fly. They're just so ugly that the Earth repels them!

Well, after a snow storm on Friday that dropped about 10-12 cm(4-5in) of drifting snow and a temp of -8c(17f) today is supposed to get up to 13c(55f) and sunny. As an added bonus, tonight the temp is actually forecast to stay above freezing for the first time this year!

Winter is fading fast in 'upstate' NY. Bummer....
It was ~ -5f, for this morning walk of the perimeter, though! (Maggie, with Onslow hiding in the trees behind her)

South Coast of England - it's been a fairly decent weekend around 15C (mid 50's) with mostly blue sky. Greta weather to be inside working - honest!

Yes it was quite a show. It went on for quite a while too. I love thunder storms at night. I live quite high in the city so I have a good panoramic view at this time of year. Once the leaves come out on the trees my view gets blocked to some degree so last nights storm was a real bonus for me.
It sounds like you had a bit of a show too. And a blizzard this morning! That sucks. We just have cold, gusty winds right now but no snow thankfully.

DANG! The plow just went by...I just hope they're not dumping a ton of salt. The roads were just starting to clear of that crap.

I was just saying last night that it was great to see all the rain because it was washing the salt away. My car is still in storage until the roads are salt free. I'm starting to get anxious to get it out and go for a drive.
