Meh, this is going to down as one of the worst seasons to end an amazing show (imo of course). The writing is so lacking, but maybe I'm just salty because all my favs died tonight.

At this point I hope the NK comes back and kills everybody left and rules.

I must admit it's kind of hilarious though that with all the well thought out fan theories there have been, none of them have come to pass and everything is straight forward as can be. Haha

Yeah there was only 1 dragon after all, the trailers aren't meant to give away spoilers. Final episode will be the dragon queen vs. John Snow. And we know who will win. There was a theory that one of the babies in the earlier season that got turned would come to replace the NK and end the series with a cliff hanger so we would have to see the spin off.

Was Sansa in this episode I didn't see her. She's on John Snow's side so maybe it doesn't factor in, but looks like Arya wants to kill the dragon queen, unless the Hound convinced her not to. It will be interesting to see Dany vs. John Snow who has the advantage. She has Drogon and the Unsullied but John has the will of the people, everyone is going to hate Dany now if they didn't already dislike her so maybe she figured she had nothing to lose. From a tactical standpoint drogon is a huge asset, killing him would be harder due to knowledge gained from previous battles making him a virtually undefeatable threat.

I was very happy with Dany's decision to just say fuck it to the rules of war and go scorched earth on kings landing. But holy plot armor lol... Drogon singlehandedly won the entire war and avoiding every spear.

The prophecies are all bogus. "And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you" -- yes jamie had his hands around cersei's neck but come on.

I thought the episode was actually very well done but with everything else this season it felt rush, and there wasn't a lead up to this episode that justified it.

Im still scratching my head about how Deneary's character can go from saving and freeing people every damn season to scorching innocents. I get she's pissed her friend got killed, but revenge could have been had by having a slow roast of the queen.

Drogon seemed in the matter of 24 hours to be able to find a way to out smart every arrow. Why didnt he burn the boats last time? Again, rushed.

The sound track, visuals and overall episode as a stand alone was fantastic. Cersi's death was anti climatic, but actually realistic. Basically no one would survive a building collapsing like that. Watching her queens hand get crushed by the mountain was a LOL moment.

Again the soundtrack and audio was top notch. Definite reference material for a home theatre.

My wife freaked out about......the saddle. No saddle on the horse Arya sees, but apparently when she rides off, it's in a saddle. Maybe she also had a coffee cup in her hand?

Pretty much my thoughts as well. Dany wanted to break the spokes of the wheel and make the world a better place to murdering 10s of thousands overnight? I have no problem with what she did to Varys, treason is a death sentence.

Jaime's character arc was completely destroyed. He left Cersei to fight for the living (where she threatened to kill him if he walked away from her, and she paid Bronn to kill him and Tyrion). Then he rushes to KL to save her? Not to mention he saved Brienne from being raped and lost a hand for it, armored her and armed her with Oathkeeper and also let her escape during the siege with Blackfish.

And Cersi? I was hoping for a Walder Frey type death (didn't necessarily have to be Arya) but to have the building fall on her after all she's done for 8 seasons? Anti-climactic is an understatement.

Jon? Aegon? He's completely disappeared. I understand he doesn't want the iron throne, but he's always stepped up to do what's right.

Let's see what happens in the final episode. The leaks I read during the week about last night's episode were spot on and if the leaks about episode 6 are true, then I will really have mixed feelings and some dissatisfaction.

The only thing that pissed me off last night was the fact that Cersei died a relatively peaceful death in the arms of a loved one. 🤬
That f****** horrible b**** deserves a torturous death more than ANYONE on the show!!!!
I was hoping Danny would ride her Dragon right through the tower Cersei was watching from and eat her ass mid flight!
Or at least the Hound should have cut her in half with his sword when she crossed by him!
